Raiffeisenbank is a member of the Austrian Raiffeisen Group. Raiffeisenbank merged with eBanka, a.s., in 2008. According to total assets of over CZK 300 billion, the bank is the 5th largest in the Czech Republic market. Raiffeisenbank serves clients at more than 130 branches and business client centres throughout the Czech Republic. The bank also provides services of specialised mortgage centres or personal, corporate and business advisors.
Since the acquisition of eBanka, it has been working on a complete merger. Raiffeisenbank decided to complete the merger of both banks on omnichannel level, decommission several outdated applications used for client servicing, but keep the existing core systems of both banks.
BSC managed to unify several of Raiffeisenbank’s core banking systems with a new digital bank platform – myGEMINI Digital Bank OS Platform – and assisted Raiffeisenbank in completing the merger with eBanka. The project was recognised by Raiffeisenbank as the most ambitious project in the year 2017.
